Archipelago Day on Händelöp is always held on the Saturday of week 28 – this year on July 12. The event began in 1999, started by the Händelöp’s Ladies association, and has grown steadily since, with a break during the pandemic in 2020–2021. From 2024, it is organized by the village community. The focus is on genuine craftsmanship. Visitors can arrive by car (parking available), bike, or boat – a berth will be arranged on arrival. Händelöp is about a 15-minute drive southeast of Västervik.
