The Wooden Boat Pier, Västervik

The Wooden Boat Pier was established 10 years ago to spark interest in the craftsmanship behind beautifully restored wooden boats and to give visitors to the city of Västervik insight into the history of traditional boats and the Tjust Archipelago.

At the pier, you’ll find all kinds of wooden boats – from leisure boats to old working vessels. Some are just a few decades old, while others were built over 100 years ago. What unites all the boat owners at the pier is their passion for preserving this cultural heritage for the future.
