The Hasselö Rowing Event is a cultural-historical tribute to the archipelago of Västervik

Every summer, around 40 wooden boats with rowers dressed in period clothing make the journey from Hasselö to Fiskarhamnen in Västervik, commemorating the trade that continued until the early 20th century.

This annual highlight, where participants row traditional wooden boats from Hasselö to Västervik, takes place on 15 July. Cheer them on at Fiskartorget, where the celebrations reach their climax as the boats arrive at the harbour. A day filled with joy, tradition, and exciting rowing!
