Sea Festival
The largest summer fiesta in Lithuania, organized since 1934, attracting around half a million visitors from Lithuania and abroad. During the celebration, more than 100 diverse events take place, including ceremonies, parades, exhibitions, concerts, street festivals, fairs, and more.
The Sea Festival is one of the most important events not only for the city of Klaipėda but for Lithuania as a whole. It celebrates the power and significance of the sea, highlights the value of a maritime nation, and inspires people to look into the endless waves, opening their minds and dedicating their lives to the sea. The Sea Festival is a meaningful element of Klaipėda’s cultural life, presenting initiatives from Klaipėda’s art representatives and collectives, ideas from artists creating across Lithuania, and contributions from foreign professionals, all enriching the content of this maritime culture-focused event.
